The barrel plating treatment is one of the most commonly used galvanisation methods in industries operating in this sector. This “roto” system, compared to the static one, is much more suitable for small-sized items, which are not at risk of damage or tangling once placed inside the machine, even if they are inserted in a disorganised manner. It is a process recommended for small metal parts, fittings, bolts, screws, and other similar items.

HOW THE PROCESS WORKS

This barrel plating treatment is carried out using a machine that, through rotating movements, ensures that the components are treated evenly, including on the inside. This guarantees long-lasting durability and protection of the metal objects, which become more resistant to atmospheric corrosion and general wear. Furthermore, through the use of a mixture of water and an alkaline or acidic solution, a complete galvanising process is performed on the components, removing any residual particles of oil and grease.
