ultrasonic tanks

Fibbi Elio offers its experience in the industrial sector also in the field of cleaning of various components and products, through ultrasonic technology. These are systems that use sound waves with a frequency higher than the maximum limit of audibility (16 kHz). The ultrasonic wave, thanks to its high energy load, generates a liquid that can be used for industrial washing. Let's find out how it works.

Operation details

The technique underlying this functionality is based on the transformation of high-frequency electrical waves emitted by a generator into mechanical oscillations by means of a converter (booster) which, by appropriately amplifying the ultrasonic energy, transfers all the oscillating power to the sonotrode (a terminal part that is different for each type of application).

An ultrasonic device essentially consists of a generator that powers one or more transducers.

CAVITATION

For ultrasonic washing, disintegration, homogenisation and plant extraction applications, the principle of cavitation is exploited. This phenomenon consists in the rapid and continuous formation and implosion of millions of microscopic bubbles loaded with steam. The mechanical action of the violent shock waves caused by the implosions, combined with an appropriate chemical action of the detergent, allows the removal of impurities at every point of the objects immersed in the ultrasonic washing tank. For these cleaning treatments, tanks with capacities of 30, 60, 90, 150 and 200 litres are supplied.

CUSTOMER-SPECIFIC CREATIONS

The main part of the company's production concerns the creations on specific customer requests, relating to various applications in the chemical, galvanic, goldsmith industries or other sectors with aggressive environments.
